I think there has been a misunderstanding. We are not an elite group (never have been, never will be); everyone is welcome here, and we never decline artwork based on some sort of quality standard. So if your artwork was declined, it must have been for another reason (e.g., because you'd submitted it into the wrong folder). I hope you'll consider re-joining the group now you know this!
