mercenary au

kuroo gets a hostage from the enemie's lines. she's an expert sniper who almost kills daichi. tetsurou checks the building is safe after he ties her up. he has to protect that safe-house for almost a week, and in that time both develop an attraction and sleep together several times. she tells him about her past, how she wasn't fighting or herself, and kuroo begins actualy liking her.
bokuto appears to have a talk with kuroo about killing her, because she's fairly dangerous. he denies immediately and doesn't answer when bokuto asks him why. but as the bros they are, bokuto sort of reads his mind and asks him about his feelings for her, just before kuroo admits it. however, he doesn't realize she's actually listening. that night he tries to confess but she avoids the subject.
on day before the week is complete, and to her surprise, her comrades attack the building in an attemp to save her. kuroo tries to fight back just with his rifle but receives support from his bro soon. an unknown sniper appears, one that doesn't kill the enemies but just knocks them down. he aknowledges she's actually helping him fight. 
just the three of them manage to survive, and kuroo moves her to another place, in which he commands her to stay hidden, promising to come back in the morning. with this, he disappears, and she is left alone thinking about her feelings for the mercenary and her duty as a soldier. 
she waits for almost four days, certain that he forgot about her. 
he appears and takes her to their base, claiming that he had a talk with daichi and she was going to stay with them (but she wasn't forced to fight). he is about to talk about his feelings again when she refuses again, and this time he notices that she heard the whole conversation and she knew how he felt. 
she takes his hand after hesitating for a while and when kuroo asks if she feels the same (never directly saying that he likes her) she only answers with a vague "yeah"  



i wanted to do this for you because the mercenary au is strong on me after that one manga. i have lik 5 different headcanons lol.
