I usually help tutor and train an autistic adult over weekends. The adult has a little brother named Matthew who also has autism, but not as much. I'm too picky and specialize with making friends, so I didn't make many friends in middle or high school. Today, I asked Matthew how school was, and if he made any friends. And he said "Mm hmm, I have friends," and I was like "I'm proud of you!" AND THEN I REALIZED THAT THIS AUTISTIC KID IS BETTER AT MAKING FRIENDS THAN ME AHAHAH

Yo, I didn't want to write about it, because I feel like I want it deal with it semi alone, but every time I go to this local fried chicken place I love, everyone is usually yelling at each other. I'm not used to customers being angry that you didn't get the very very very bottom fried chicken peas at the very very bottom of the pile. And then they complain to each other in the sort of ebonics way that the owner has an attitude, but really, the owner is just reacting to them having really ridiculous requests, and I'm just sitting back there. And then random other customers look so freaking shady, or whatever. It's stressful, man! I don't want to give eye contact. Either the customers are yelling at the owner, or the owner's yelling at his employees, and I'm just awkwardly there like "I just want the tasty fried chicken, man." and this is the fourth time I've been, and I just got out after waiting about 15 or so minutes, and the owner is talking to me and Arabic, I believe, and I'm like "?????" But I think he's saying that he's alone in his shift and it's really awful, but he's also egotistical, like all the restaurant needs is me to hold up this establishment, and I'm nodding like "it must be tough. It must be tough." And he smiles at me, and then the employee comes and with a shipment, and immediately, the owner is yelling, and it's both hilarious but incredibly frightening at the same time, this place! Plus, just a drive up to this place makes me feel like I'm getting mugged, because there's so many suspicious people around here, AHHHHH

Anyways, hope your summer's been doing well! if you need any help with understanding the weird college process, even if you have to turn in your application a little late, just ask! I'LL MAKE SURE I GIVE YOU WRONG ANSWERS

I HAVE THIS ISSUE WHERE WHEN I NEED TO CONCENTRATE ON DOING HOMEWORK/WORK, I DO BETTER WITHOUT NOISE IN THE BACKGROUND. BUT THEN I GET ANGSTY AND BORED THAT THERE IS NO NOISE, SO I HAVE TO LISTEN TO SOMETHING LIKE A PODCAST. BUT THEN THE PODCAST DISTRACTS ME, SO I LESSON THE SOUND BY A LOT, BUT THEN THE FACT THAT I DO NOT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS SAYING DISTRACTS ME MORE, AND THEN I TURN IT BACK AGAIN AURHGHHHH
