# About me
A divorcee living with my son in North London. Loving humour and magic. In the past I wrote a column in Haunted Digital Magazine, and have written two children's books. My dream is for a book or books to appear on bookshelves. All of those published so far are print-on-demand. This is because I have no patience to await agents' or publishers' replies - been that route and anyhow probably no chance because I haven't (a) murdered anyone (yet, though I have a few in mind!) or (b) have celebrity status or (c) smuggled drugs inadvertently and then been imprisoned in some Thailand jail for the past 20 odd years.
One of the books which illlustrates perfectly my naughty schoolboy/schoolgirl type of humour is: Mad Magda's Naughty Adult Fairy Tales - this is not erotica, though I think the books may have sold better if they had've been! No not my style, just very rude and full of innuendo.

Thank you only just seen this. No cake this year as so expensive to buy online, but I am getting one for my son whose birthday is at end of April - they cost about £50 now. I do a home baked cake as well but I love the fresh cream ones with fruit from a place called Cakes Today.
You stay safe too.

Thanks - nice of you to send a greeting. Just a lazy day really. Nothing on TV though. Used to get good films on years ago! Never mind. My son was going to get me a cake but I said leave it till next week as we have been eating chocolate and other cake recently!

You´re welcome. Oh chocolate is my one vice, can´t resist especially cadbury´s I was horrified when I heard Hershey´s were taking it over but releived as they said they wouldn´t change the cadbury recipe.

Yes that might be a disaster - I shouldnt think they considered changing it when sales have always been so good. I like Cadburys and Galaxy and Lindt and....However cake will always win out over chocolate with me.

My mother-in-law makes wonderful cakes she´s expert at it. I try to discourage her cos we´re only two now there´s no one there to eat it.

Yes, I remember the photos of those wonderful cakes. I used to make similar ones years ago when I was married but they are less fancy now - often just fairycakes with currants or sultanas, or coconut cake or teabread for example. My son likes them a lot but says I am making him too fat.

It´s not all the cakes it´s all the hidden sugar in our food today. There must be about10-15 different names for it too. The human race eats far too much sugar and is addicted to it aswell .

Agree it is one of the worst things - but saying this I made a batch of jam tarts this afternoon and just had four. My main meals are pretty healthy but after the main..........

Your work stands out in terms of honesty and feeling - especially drawings of birds and animals, including sea life which I think is a difficult subject to capture. I think your love and expression of nature deserves some response from watchers - any favourites you get are well deserved!
