.. and for the journal
Get Started with Xaos UPDATE2(This time I've mainly updated the headings 2 and 7)
This is a Short Manual for Beginners who never have handled any Fractal Software before
Xaos is a free open source "easy to handle" fractal software for drawing mainly "Mandel and Julia" type of fractals.Β Β It is available for Windows, MacOS, and several LINUX distributions It can be
downloaded from it's webpage,
The install file (Windows) has a size about 1.5 Mb.
1) Install (Windows): Just click the Install file and follow the instructions. It's very fast to install
2) Zooming: When you've started the software, you have a unmagnified version of the Mandelbrot set in your window. In order to zoom, just point with the mouse where you wanna zoom and press the left mouse button. In order to zoom out, press the right mouse button. In order reset the window, got to Reset to defaults under the Fractal menu. Β
Hope you it will inpire you

.. and thanks the for my journal
Dreaming of the Empire.. is apparently Gideon Rachman (and for sure many others) I was referring to that in my previous journalΒ Β promoting theΒ Β short article of Paul Joseph Watson.Β Β A while after that journal, I managed to to open the referred article by Gideon Rachman in Financial Times when I googled the title. However when I paste that URL on a dA page, it still asks for registration However I've written out the article as a pdf-file and upoaded it on my webpage, so below the article on Financial Times from December 2008,

You're very welcome. I love fractal art! I have no idea how it's made though. It seems really interesting, and the results are gorgeous.Β

Fractals are patterns that repeat themselves (or have details) at every level of magnification See the three illustrations Barnsley Fern , Romanesco Brassica , and Von Koch Curve Β I'll put some recycled info in a note for you. Hope you don't mind
