wow i haven't been on mly compeuter in ages and i JUST got your comment. anyways.. haha.. yes. i do ride. i love to ride. i've competed mostly show jumping but have done some eventing and dressage as well. love it. love it.

horses are expensive. as well as showing! i used to lease horses before i got my own. that way you still have one you can work with that's a bit better than average, and sometimes the owners will let you show them too.

yeah....where i live, horses are hard to come by because the only barn in town is this uber-wealthy beauty-contest kind of barn: $500 (with membership) for full board with no turnout? because the Hunt Club is so expensive, i ride in a town that i have to drive for 30 minutes to get to--in good traffic! haha. by the way, it's great to finally talk to someone who loves horses as much as i do!

wow that's tricky business eh? i've paid 535 for a stall before... they did get turnout though. i had to leave that life though.... the shows were expensive and not paying off, you know? now i've got my horses in a pasture on the edge of a coulee for 150 each a month and just do tons of pleasure riding.... i think i've kinda found my niche in it. i hope you get the opporunity to try everything you want with the horses.... it definately is a blast.
