I had to get a new da account because someone hacked my school one. it's permanently unfixable. Just thought I'd let you know the change. I"m glad I joined da and met people like you and many others. Have a great day and night. And I never did find out who hacked up my account. but I assure you it's never going to be usuable. I tried submitting poetry on it and my cpu crashed. I couldn't view my journals or anything. I am being very serious about this all. I hate hackers that do this. I hope the hacker gets caught and is taught a lesson. Luckily I have tons of nicknames. Otherwise I would of permanently had to say goodbye to everyone on da. THat would suck so much. Because I'd miss you all

Thanks for the comment on "Alone with Myself", Nikki. The smell of yellow got pinched from one of my old friends sayings about "not looking at him in that tone of voice because it smells a funny colour".

And the ringing silence is a cliché, but because it's true and so (perhaps unfortunately) will never be wrong to include it in something like this. It's repetitive but who said the truth had to be original?

And disorganisation is wonderful, it's very much my ground state.

Thanks for your comments regards 'Laura B & W 2002'. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, I've been away in West Wales for a few days.

Nice to see that there are people out there that not only check out my work but also take the time to make constructive comment. The shot was taken while Laura sat on the sofa watching the TV! It was in focus front to back, but I wanted to try a layered technique in Photoshop to effectively 'fake' depth of field. She is indeed a sweety, easy company as they say.....gets a tad fed up with her Daddy taking her photo though?!!!

I see you're off to Europe. I'll have a think regards places of interest, there are many as you can imagine!

PS: Avebury Stone Circle near to where I live is always a great place to visit. It nestles in the north (ish) of Wiltshire and is only a $5 return bus ride from Swindon. Very atmospheric and close to both Kennet Long Barrow (burial chamber) and Silbury Hill (largest Prehistoric earthmound) [link] Avebury is a world Heritage site and is well worth the effort. In the south of the county you have Stonehenge Stone Monument and Salisbury Cathedral which boasts the highest steeple in Britain.

Thanks so much for all your comments on my Gallery. I'm glad you liked my photos.

To answer your question. All of the Sea & harbour shots are taken in Aberdeen. If you are visiting the UK during your trip to Europe then you should definately try and make time to visit the North of Scotland as well as our capital city Edinburgh. If you enjoy history and visiting Castles and beautiful scenery etc. then you'll love Scotland. Although we have had an amazingly sunny summer this year the autum (fall) is definately starting already, so if you do come to Scotland you'll have to remember we do get a lot of rain!! On the plus side of course, it's that same rain that make our scenery so green & beautiful.
I hope you have a great trip to Europe and post lots of pics of your adventures on Deviantart.
