# About me

Once the children graduated I had the time to fulfill my artistic side. For the past 35 years I pursued accounting and passed the Ohio CPA exam. These postings have not been edited are from digital point-and-shoot. My preference is B & W with a Nikon 35mm AND a Mamiya C330.

I truly appreciate the compliment.

All the studio photographs are in our century home 8 or so miles from Cleveland. My spouse of 4 1/2 decades is usually home providing the models a "sense of comfort & relaxation", perhaps this is the key.
My eyes have been CATARACTED to 20-20; until 2017, the Ophthalmologist could correct to 20-50 due to several retinal tears

I practice and practice and practice.

Several years ago I photographed a grandma (she had 2 grandchildren, 11 & 9) who posed for me. She consented to have her portrait submitted to the local Community College Art show. Much to her chagrin, the print was accepted and hung in the gallery for 3 weeks. Since then my spouse has retired from allowing me to shoot her in an Fine Arts Nude setting.
