I just found your page, and am now questioning what I was doing with my life that made me take this long to find it. One question though, I saw your harbinger designs and was wondering if you'd consider doing one based off of pestilence? I know that conquest and famine are interchangeable but I think it would be really cool if Glory was the "Forgotten horseman of conquest," while pestilence (Blight, maybe?) would be the white horse. Anyway, your art is amazing, keep up the good work

I wonder what do you do to create this painterly look in your art, chalk brush is one thing but what mindset do you have at the time of painting, like refusing to use lines on first stages of painting or something? And do you draw everything on a one layer?

i usually start with some squggly sketch to figure out where everything goes, then start lopping strokes around to get the rough values down. From there its just rendering the image like you would a traditional painting while constantly rotating thorugh 3 different brushes.Β
I do layer, then merge down to keep things simple so to the later stages of the painting is more or less done in 1 layer. I do separate effects so that probably the only time i use separate layers in my personal art

So I gave been looking at your art work for the past week and I noticed you have some stuff for warframe. Do you also plan to do Halo art since they are in a similar genre of gaming. That being scifi ''fall of an empire, rise of another''-ish.

Halo has crossed my mind, but havent really gotten around to it. Also im pretty bad at sci fi so i would ideally want to do a Halo piece once i feel i can do it justice. I used to rock the gravity hammer back in the day. Good times
