Yes! I get this sick glee when watching/reading a good and clever set of violence. I think that's why I've always liked superheros and never really been too into "girl's comics."

*ehehehe* I was four, too! Burt Ward's legs have so much to answer for. And I actually found fandom in general back in '97 *because* I was looking for Batman porn. *cackles*

Fight scenes can be so *unbelievably* hot and fascinating. I mean, when an artist or writer really knows how bodies work, really knows what's possible, what's exceptional, and what's unspeakably badass... yeah, I love it. And I tend to get in the same headspace for writing violence as I get into for writing porn. *ahahhaa*

Lol! Mine was the Tim Burton film. I had drifted away from Batman for a few years so I went online to catch up on the story lines and discovered that the fans were crazy and hilarious. XD

I always think of action in terms of music. It's all rhythm and pacing. I think that's my main problem with Japanese comics. The action has no pacing, it just goes and goes and goes and the characters always have to power up. Even when I was really heavily into manga, I hated the never ending action for ten issues in a row.

I can't seem to visualize it. And when I read it, I tend to gravitate more towards the awkward, "Man, these guys are fucked up" sort of porn. Train Wreck Sex, if you will. XD
