Kia ora! I am a human being of the female gender from a little green country called New Zealand. New Zealand is most commonly known (Haha yeah right, no one knows New Zealand!) for our rugby team the 'All Blacks', kiwifruit, and sheep. But despite popular belief, we do not run around in grass skirts sodomising sheep, most of us can afford clothes, and we sodomise each other instead! Happy times! 8DMy gallery mainly consists of fan art, fan comics and photos from my travels around Asia (there are photos of China, Taiwan, Japan, North Korea and South Korea). When I first joined this website, I was really into Yu-Gi-Oh GX, so most of my old art is of that. But since 2011, I've been super obsessed with Hetalia. My absolute favourite character is China (Wang Yao), and that much is pretty obvious from just a quick glace at my gallery.

Hmm. Just a little something. I found another video that has subtitles to the Cold War Song but they are completely different. I admit some make more sense to the ones that you translated. The owner is from Russia, no description if she learned Japanese or something but I just don't want and don't like to get the wrong lyrics.

I just watched it, and the subtitles don't look completely different to me. Our word choices were a bit different, but the overall meaning is basically the same. It's only natural that we translated a few words in slightly different ways, since it's impossible for two translations to be word-for-word identical. Japanese and English are completely different.

Well I'm saying they were similar. If you know what I mean, for example, "(UK & France) Nations are being divided by- (Italy and Germany) arbitrary lines!"
The one you translated were "(UK & France) Countries will be divided- (Italy and Germany) Arbitrary demarcation lines!" I have to say the other translation make more sense instead of having to randomly say another word separately "Arbitrary demarcation lines." But we don't have to say "demarcation".
And when Japan and China said "We will take damage." It didn't make sense to me, they sound like they're responsible for the "damage" in a tension situation, except the other subtitles said "Even from the sidelines, we suffer damage."

The lines said by UK and France and then Italy and Germany were separate sentences though, they didn't say 'by' before 'Arbitrary demarcation lines'. The other translator added 'by' to join the two sentences together, but actually in Japanese they didn't say 'by'.
Also, Japan and China never say 'even from the sidelines'. The other translator completely made that part up. And 'take the damage' doesn't mean they are responsible for the damage, it means they are the victims of it.
