Wow, you have had it longer than me then. Me since about 2001. Mine is because of tow things really, the first being my on-going and long term obsession with wings ^^ The other is the fact that my dad always used to call me his moon child as even as a baby I was nigh on nocturnal. When I learnt the Japanese words Tsuki Tsubasa was born ^^ Whats the meaning for you?

That's so cool that yours was a childhood nickname.
For me Tsuki means Sailor Moon because that's the show that got me into anime back in 1995 and it's also how I met my most dearest friends. <3 Tsubasa came from Fushigi Yuugi because the character Tasuki's symbol is the Tsubasa one and I had my first huuuuge anime crush on him.
