Yep, after discovering the Frankenstein musical , my already strong love for the book grew into, well, a bit of an obsession these past few months, haha!

Have you read Charlotte Gordon's book about Mary Shelley and her mother?
It's the Romantic Outlaws: The extraordinary lives of Mary Wollstonecraft and Mary Shelley
If not - I highly recommend it and even tough it's around 700 pages long it's amazingly brilliant and so well written!
I loved the part about the circumstances of how "Frankenstein" came to life and how Mary edited the book many times.
I've got the first edition with unchanged script and the last version she edited herself
