WHAT PREETY ART I'M SO OUT OF PRACTICE. I actually want to be more active on dA but idk -- it never seems to happen because (same as you) school and all. I was thinking maybe this summer after finals I can do it but hmm so many things have changed and I'm more comfortable with tumblr /sigh.
I've been okay! 2014 was jam-packed with anxiety and depression but I'm 100% dedicated to making this year better. :') (AND THE SCHOOL YEARBOOK WHICH I DESIGNED IS FINALLY OUT SO IM OVER THE MOON. It's so sad because school just gets increasingly more time consuming ;A; And to be honest, I feel like dA is going downhill so badly, nowadays...Like they're more about money than art. I feel that Tumblr's a lot more people-oriented than dA so it's more comfortable over there ;u;

omg yes I completely agree with you on the downfall of dA. Remember the good ol' days with the old layout and old system? Gosh I miss that time. I feel like 2010-2012 was the best on this website along with smackjeeves eee. (REMEMBER THAT'S HOW I MET YOU) 
tumblr definitely is more user-friendly and the people are so nice there... C:

OH LORD U R SO PUNNY WOW EHEHEH. THE USERNAME WAS ACTUALLY INSPIRE BY TED HUGHES'S POEM 'SNAIL OF THE MOON' AND A LIL BIT OF RISE OF THE GUARDIANS OHOHOO. Yess things have improved by a landslide :'D mostly because I changed the way I look at things but there's always the usual anxiety/depression present, you know? Like the peripheral negativity is always there.

Yeah, it's my last year too! So a lot of stress here too ughh x__X I'm so sick of school and after this we'll have to deal with college wOW there is no end to this lol.

UM EXCUSE ME. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO POST UP YOUR POETRY/STORIES BECAUSE IM SURE THEY'RE BRILLIANT. I was also really meh with writing a while back because I could never translate my feelings into words. But experimenting with different styles really did open me up! (As you can see, the poetry I write has inconsistent styles/moods like I'm literally all over the place as opposed to other tumblr poets who have it all together.) Hello there! I've been well; I've mostly been over at my side account trying to make some cash since I couldn't get a summer job, haha.

Does dA even have a comment limit? I've written ridiculously long replies before (approx. 2000 words+) and I've never been cut off by a limit. Although, that was a while back, and dA might have added one recently.

It's good that you're more confident! Not feeling confident with your art is probably one of the worse things art-wise that an artist can go through.
