Greetings again... I've seen your work on Venetian masks and I am very impressed, because I'm a big fan of these and would be delighted to make a Bauta as those shown in this picture ... You probably already have gotten the message, right?
I was wondering if you could make a tutorial to make these masks or white Bauta especially... I'd appreciate it much and would be indebted to you ...
Please tell me if you would be willing to do something like what I asked ... I'd appreciate it very seriously ...and I am sure that many people besides me so would! You would do the world a favor * laughs *... and is not a joke.

Suggestion: Fox masks, I run in renaissance faires in the US and I love leather masks. Ravens and animals are a big hit here in this line of work as well as gargoyles and such. I have a personal affinity for foxes and have been searching for an excellent specimen of a fox masks.

Okay I dunno how I missed that! That looks gorgeous! *squees and wants to cuddle mask* But yes, here in Washington State of the US Crows and Ravens are very popular animal since they relate to a lot of Celt or European lore itself. It also fits well into goth fads in a lot of art styles as much as I hate to use that as an example. Thanks for the link as well as the reply! Its almost renfaire season soon so if you would like me to take pics of masks for you while I'm out and about to help you get ideas I'd be more than welcome to.

If you could do that, that would be fantastic - thank you! It's always good to see not only masks, but costumes as well, and get an idea of what's out there and what people like. Ren faires sound like loads of fun! We don't have them here - we get historical re-enactments, which strive for authenticity in everything they do, so a lot of the fantasy element goes out of it. They are fun as well, but as they are very strict on accuracy, there's not a great deal of scope for the participants to wear masks, or any other fantasy attire...

Well a lot of the faires I tend to go to have a little or a lot of fantasy elements bc they aren't run by a group we have called the SCA. *forget what it stands for atm* But there are some that require to be as we call it "Period" I have been going since my high school years and have just recently been starting to perform in a troupe in the last 1yr 1/2-2 years so I've been learning from folks who have been in it for YEARS how it works and what's normally in the background of things.
One of the biggest faires I work for that I started going to in the beginning is called Washington State Midsummer Renaissance Faire.It runs for the first 3 weekends of August. Last year we had a theme for each weekend and Masquerade was one of them and there was some fantastic ones out there. When it was under different management it had a different name but if you google it it will give you the main idea of what it is like here in WA state. PM me if you have a facebook or something bc I have a lot of my ren photos and other things there.
