I have an idea to get the contest out there. In this group, #AllStuffandStuff , you can post in their journal entries but clicking "submit a blog entry!" You don't have to be an admin or whatever, but maybe a member I'm not sure. But anyways I think a lot of people watch the journal entries so I think that would really get the contest more attention.
