Totally in the middle of reading Shortest Distance from A to B on FF.net - about ten chapters in, I started blabbing to my husband about it (the guy below, ), and he was like "...can you read it to me?", so now I have started back at the beginning and am indeed reading it to him, XD
It's pretty rad, actually - it is how we spend our evenings now. I read a bit, and he plays Cave Story, and I get a sore throat from trying to do all the voices, especially Kanji's, XD
We're really really loving it so far!! <3 I am noticing just how good the characterization is now that I have to read it out loud - it's really easy to pull up each character's voice and inflection, because you've written them so true to form.
Fantastic stuff! And thanks for giving my husband and I a fun way to spend time together! :3

Just checked your DA page and realized you posted some awesome Kanji/Naoto pictures I previously saw on Tumblr. KrisRix there too, correct? Anyway, I am stoked that you are enjoying Shortest Distance! Hope you continue to do so as the chapters continue. And, uh, apologies for the lengthiness. Just imagining the toll on your voice from reading it all, yikes. But it does sound like a fun way to read the story.
