Edit: Please check out my revised versionOldish art. I found this in the files on my old computer. Supposedly I made it last September. It was like 99% complete; I just added in the kanji today and that finished it. And if anyone's curious, according to ~rose-stock the knaji says "fox spring flower." It's really just there for ornamental purposes.
The "Cherry Blossom Princess" is a Fennec Fox. I just love their big ears!

You've given a very balanced palette and it really focuses on the subject at hand without overpowering.
I love the shading on the kimono as well, although the princess seems to be lacking the same shading. Maybe you intended it that way?

I agree about the shading on the princess. I actually did 99% of this piece last September, and didn't have a lot of time to spend on it because school was starting the next day, so I probably didn't work the fur as much as I should have. I'd like to redo it one day and really take my time with it all.
