My original character Faeren in his reimagined "Genshin Impact" online game style! He makes me so happy.

I find the shiny anime style of Genshin Impact difficult to mesh with my own style (much as I adore it), but I keep trying! This is my best result yet, I think, and a bit of a new painting experiment. Made possible by this amazing watercolor brush texture pack by Jenny Dolfen! I have been meaning to try it out for months now, but I'm not terribly confident in Procreate yet. Lines were drawn in Clip Studio Paint. WIP sketches and other new in-progress paintings on my Patreon !

Also, I've been thinking lately about hosting a "Draw This In Your Style" (DTIYS) featuring this design of Faeren. With prizes being an art commission from me in return, and signed art prints/coloring book bundles. I dearly miss the fun and interaction and joy of sharing with other artists online. What do you all think?? Would anyone be interested in joining?
