Seriously - this is the best render of table wares I've seen yet (and been here since 2005 - so I've seen a LOT) - the DOF is very nice with the spoon just starting to loose focus... the coffee in the cup still seems 'in motion' from the spoon being put in... which is a nice touch of reality.

MMm love that porcelain. Is there a bump map for it?Hard to tell, if you added a bump for the gold leaf that would make it even better.

I also like the layout of the scene. This one is almost ready for a reel.

it's not like it's halloween. this rendered it perfectly, just like in lightwave. i just get amazed at how it looks so realistic. i assume half the images in ads aren't even photos now, they're created in programs like this.

yep pretty much every car ad has a cg car these days
and a lot of food ads dont have real food, they are either plastic models or computer graphic!
