Description
This was a painting test using some gouache paints that a classmate gave me. Gouache, when used very watered down, has a very similar approach to watercolor. In fact, I don't know if I would be able to tell them apart if nobody told me...Anyway. Now I'll probably draw one of her cats in the future as a thank you for the paints
This was drawn using one of my own photos as reference.
Gouache paints over Canson watercolor paper.

I think that every paint that's soluble with water, or water based, like gouache and acrylics, if worked really watered down, will resemble watercolors closely in the end
Gouache is opaque like watercolors so the differences are almost none. With acrylics I guess the bright tones they usually have would probably give off that it's not a watercolor painting

Sim! Funciona muito parecido MESMO com aquarela, se trabalhar o guache aguado..acho que só fica um pouco mais opaco na cor, mas curti muito.
