I'm stricken too.. with the softness of hay, with the play of lights and shadows, with the animal's pose and peculiar anatomy; I want to touch its protruding shoulder blade, stroke its feathery ear and muscled thigh, but at the same time I want to keep my distance so as to not disturb it. It's not easy to decipher its expression. You have a beautiful way with drawing bodies, choosing perspective and convening emotions, they capture my attention and actually hold it, for which I am very glad to you.
