I'm such a big fan of fairytales and fairytale themed things, I had to stop and say what I thought about this! (Pardon, je renonce à mon français un moment.)
The image being on its side looked odd to me at first, but after looking at it for a while, I rather like it that way. To me, it makes it feel like there's something "false" or annoying about the idea (that princesses are so lazy, lol). And the cut out crown and and shoes on a line (like they were put there specifically for the princess) gives it that feeling of a world being made just for them... which is the kind of feeling princess stories tend to have. I love the colours! The white/red/black also fits the image so perfectly with fairytales like Snow White (another sleeper), but also the princess's pale white skin with that band across her chest makes her look almost like she's wearing a dress which reminds me of the story about The Emperor's New Clothes x)
All in all, I think this was well put together!
