Yes, yes, I know I don't usually do much in the fan art area, but I'm trying to build things up for the comicon. This one turned out pretty good. I spent way more time on it than I should for a comicon throwaway so it's actually going to be remotely expensive. If it doesn't sell at the con I will put it on ebay.Okami and Issun from the game Okami.
Brush and ink on watercolor paper, toned with uh... chamomile tea.

In all honesty, even if the price is high, I think it's definitely going to sell. Not only is the picture absolutely amazing and adorable (gotta love that wolf), but you also have the style completely down and it's in watercolors (same as the game). If you were to have done it in color pencils or whatnot, it wouldn't give as big of a hit. Choosing that media and this artstyle was definitely wise - have fun at the convention!
By the way, nice color choices for this. It's not too bright or too dark. It's a very mild, yet soothing color. Well done with that.

Mmmm I see alot of okami pics on DA. And it takes skill to get down not only the body parts of a wolf, but the markings of ammy herself/itself And to top it off you chucked in a small bouncing friend [joke from game] 'issun' of course lawls I just love how well you turned the end of Ammy's tail into a brush like figure! The maker of the game and okami was very original about the designe. And you retorted the image with much grace *clap clap*
