Description An original doll I made with wire armature, wool, Sculpey, toy stuffing, faux fur and painted with acrylics.

Ammy (Amethyst), has a ribbon around her neck, it's from a company called "Fox Flowers" from a bouquet of roses my boyfriend gave me for Valentines Day.

Be a little more patient about the paint job. You are doing well so far, but the things that always catches my eye are your outdropping outlines.
Maybe you keep that in mind next time

How did you attach the head to the body? I've wanted to make dolls like this but wasnt sure how to.

hmm, It would be easier to explain through a tutorial with sketches. I will do that for you tomorrow and let you know when I post it. I kinda figured out myself because most artists wouldn't share their secrets, but I'm more than happy to help others!

Thanks so much Im so excited to try it. What is the wool that you talk about in it? is it like string or yarn

you can use felt, yarn, wool. anything that covers the wire and it just makes the plush softer and more solid.
