The title speaks for itself
Squirrelflight, daughter of Firestar. At first I didn't like Squirrelflight much, but I really came to respect her in the later books. Used Gimp 2.6 and it took me about six hours altogether. I hope you like it ^^

Fluffy! I looovvvveeeeee her! And that pose is just...and Gimp? Never thought. The fur is just perfect, her eyes remind me of a leaf swirling on a branch in the spring, and you have done it. I never thought that ANYBODY pictured her the same way I do or that anyone could draw her right. It's a phenomenal piece of art, definitely one of my faves. Btw I made it to South Carolina safely and am typing this from my hotel room ^^

Hey Nie! It feels like its been a while ^^ Its good to hear from you, and hear that you are doing well. Personally, I always pictured her much more firey-furred than the books let on, with green eyes like her dad, you know ^^ The pose and the sky behind her were supposed to go along with "flight" part of Squirrelflight, same with the leaf ^^ Glad you like! I'ma try to do Brambleclaw next, we'll see ^^

The fire effect on her kinda reminds me of Firestar rather then Squirrelflight, But she is his daughter, after all XD.
Anyways amazing job on this, it looks very realistic and I love the way you drew the ears! They should be just a bit more pointed at the tops, but either way it looks fine! <3

She looks as if she is on fire. A charming effect as any. I never did figure out how to achieve 'fur' on GIMP, but then again, I've hardly ever attempted an animal...Perhaps I should give it a try at some point. I see you fancy 'lineless' work. You don't see many artists like that. I find it refreshing. Keep up the good work, love.
