Well guys, this is what you have been waiting for. This is my Ultima Keyblade. This took a lot of time and work and I hope you enjoy. Please comment and leave your opinion on it ^^.
Description: Ok where do I even start.. xD. I used several different tools and materials to make this keyblade. I made each piece seperate and then attached it all together when it was done.
The base, spikes, and top pieces are made from thicker wood, and worked off of from there.
The nettings, and inner heart pieces are made from thinner wood which I got with a Oak coating meaning it gives it a lot of extra strength, but came at a price of $60 a sheet.
The paint I know is not exact on some parts, and my camera depleted some of the color on the handle body of the keyblade, but over all I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I used acrylic paint.
Now, for anyone who would ever dream of wanting to buy this keyblade, you better hope you have a lot of money in your pocket. This keyblade would sell for a sum of around $300 - $350 Canadian (price doesn't change for US dollars)

It sounds like your demel may not be powerful enough, or if your sanding bit isn't good sanding paper.
Make sure you get a rough sanding tool bit, so you can sand off more in less time.
Maybe cause a lot of people ask me about my tools, I will post a picture soon with all the tools I use 8D

Well I will do my best! Thoguh it wil lbe a while til I start making my next one since the first two I made nearly sucked my brains OUT O_O
At least I know to use acrylic paints from now on >_> (a whole ecpi saga of using enamel paints on primer = DEATH)

Ultima from the second game looked like such a challenge, so I HAD to try making it xP. Plus since its so beautiful and unique, it would be a real beauty when finished :3

Well.. nearly lost my fingers 20 times (one time actually cut my finger, yay for fast reflexes xD), and you gotta have patience and take your time. As well as be smart about what you cut first and where to cut.

lol my brother is accually pretty good with wood as well.not as good as you, but he probably got it from my dad...my dad is really good at making stuff, he made our deck and he helps friends of his with thier remodeling all the time.i think id probrbly be too timid to do all this stuff. lol id be too afraid to cut my hands off>_<

its not to bad but it has its limits when holding it diff ways cause it is heavy. Which is why I hold it a way to make it look good with my Emo Roxas, as well as show of the beauty of it.
