Well guys, this is what you have been waiting for. This is my Ultima Keyblade. This took a lot of time and work and I hope you enjoy. Please comment and leave your opinion on it ^^.
Description: Ok where do I even start.. xD. I used several different tools and materials to make this keyblade. I made each piece seperate and then attached it all together when it was done.
The base, spikes, and top pieces are made from thicker wood, and worked off of from there.
The nettings, and inner heart pieces are made from thinner wood which I got with a Oak coating meaning it gives it a lot of extra strength, but came at a price of $60 a sheet.
The paint I know is not exact on some parts, and my camera depleted some of the color on the handle body of the keyblade, but over all I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I used acrylic paint.
Now, for anyone who would ever dream of wanting to buy this keyblade, you better hope you have a lot of money in your pocket. This keyblade would sell for a sum of around $300 - $350 Canadian (price doesn't change for US dollars)

Just used my industrial heat glue-gun xD.
Nothing special, it's not heavy so it doesn't need much to be attached.

i want to ask why you make the ultima II ''blade'' section white a stick.
Isn't the ultima kh2 like a blade

This is the Ultima from KH2, the Blade one you're talking about is the other Ultima Keyblade I made which is from KH1, they're just both classified under the same name "Ultima". Like it is in Birth By Sleep now for example, it's not classified as "Ultima 2" or something, they're all just called Ultima xD.
Check my description on this prop and I should have a link to the KH1 Ultima that I made which you're describing.

I found this way way to impractical to do the "Invisible blade" part on this prop which surrounds the middle bar, so I took it out to avoid annoyance, if I had to redo this keyblade, I'd probably use plexiglass now that I know how to work with the stuff, but yes I do know what you mean, though there is a bar in the middle and I just decided to remove the "Invisible blade" piece when I made mine.

Wow. I'm not gonna lie I love your keyblade work. Love it. My friends and I are planning on making our own for our birth by sleep cosplays for next year and I'm gonna be aqua. We're gonna work on it soon but youre our backup plan in case we screw up.. which we might.

I can't "teach" you really past my one tutorial I have in my DA gallery, and it's not of a kingdom key but it's how I would make one.

I'm not happy with the colors of some parts, as well as its weight >_>. The first KH ultima is way better balance and weight and I'm happy with it completely, this not so much, but I still can't complain.
And yess, ew on how much this thing costs to own >_> xD

Im speechless... One question, how did you carve the shapes? liek the 3D spikes?

Mostly sanding it down at angles with a dremel. If not that then I worked off of it from there to give it more form and shape

Hmm thing is I have a dremel and tried that but it wasnt... strong enough? it has brick-colored sanding barrels.. are we using the samew thing?
