of an opened - winged Barn Owl made in 1:12th scale.

Measurments: Length - 2. 2cm
Wingspan: 4.6 cm

The eyes are made of black glass rounds.

Yes you are right about patience. I've only made this one owl with open wings, it was much more difficult than I first thought but I will make more when I am feeling brave enough again.

Incredible realism on such a tiny scale. Roughly how long does it take you to go through the whole feathering + painting details process?

Thank you . This one took about 72 hours (3 days) to feather and paint (the open wings really add the time on)over a period of a few months. The feathers are painted individually and then apllied to the sculpture one at a time.
