Description
Commission forHer handsome centaur character Keholt. I was kinds scared by his green hair but in the end I really like how he looks
He is a warrior but on one of drawings Epiaruna did I noticed him casting some kind of nature spell. And so I used this idea in my artwork =]
I used reference for all those highlight and shine on horse part of his body.
Done in Photoshop with Pentagram Titan tablet

c: Gosh, I can't begin to tell you how much I love this! It's almost uncanny how well you captured his demeanor. The details are ridiculously awesome--seriously, the definition in his muscles are astounding. There is absolutely nothing off about this; to be totally honest, it really helps me in leaps and bounds, concerning centaur anatomy. The chest of the horse part was completely eluding me, and this piece has helped me so much in envisioning that.
I just love all of the wonderful details on his hair and tail, not to mention the shine on his equine half. That's always been something I've admired about your art (well, one of the many things, anyway). His nose is perfect, by the way. And I love how you included some small details about him--his necklace and his magical abilities in particular. It just really ties it all together for me. I could ramble about how much I love this piece all day, though.
I just can't thank you enough for this! I'm also going to draw him with shorter hair occasionally, just because I like how you illustrated it here.
