Traditional watercolor~ Painted in Hawaii Feb 2010 from my recent trip there. Bird of Paradise is one of the most unique and beautiful tropical flowers. I really enjoyed painting this.Related content

Very pretty! I remember, years ago when I was still a kid, my dad (who passed away last september) coming back from a trip. We went to collect him at the airport, and there he comes his arms full of this, wrapped in papers and plastic bags.. he'd basically been sitting on the plane with that package on his lap! lololol
