This poster alone pretty much shows how disappointed I felt with Mass Effect: Andromeda, and probably how the main characters from the original trilogy would feel. It's not a horrible game, but it's purely a bad Mass Effect title, and my biggest disappointment of 2017. No wonder EA put the franchise on hold after this title. Watch this video if you can, it'll better explain how this potential killer hit fell apart and became such a mediocre mess.

It was the wrong game engine together with not enough time. Lot of the early game was produced in the Unreal Engine like the Trilogy before. 1,5 Years before the release of ME:Andromeda someone decided everything had to convert to the new Frostbyte engine, which are used for all new EA games. So the developers had only one year to convert everything they worked on the last 4 years to a engine they are not familiar with.

Andromeda isn't terrible. I see it as a direct game of references. The squad members, the Tempest, the Nomad, heck, the general feel is like a reference. Just with better combat and less memorable characters that without which everyone says the game is terrible even though their Mass Effect playthrough has them dead in the Suicide Mission or something.
I won't defend how much I laughed when seeing this. I'll defend Andromeda any day, but this was just too good. I saw something similar to this, in that it has the same idea, and I loved it.

EA is possibly the MOST responsible for KILLING MANY GREAT VIDEO GAME FRANCHISES!
Here's a list of a video game franchises that EA killed:
- Dungeon Keeper
- Command & Conquer (my favorite game of all time)
- SimCity
- Dead Space
- Medal of Honor
- Burnout
- Crysis (presumably because they never released any latest game for this)
- Dragon Age
- Wing Commander
- any games that EA makes, that too many list

But do I see Sims being in threat of this? And Dragon Age had the same issue with fans as Mass Effect 3. Hated for no reason. 200 hour game. Great game, people hated it for no reason.
And funnily enough, not really, it pisses me off something nasty, both Inquisition and Andromeda had hilarious characters and both were hated not for that character! UNFAIR!
I should also mention that people hate on Battlefield, but considering how 99 percent of Battlefield's community believes they are better than Call of Duty fans because they play Battlefield which demands more teamwork, even though THEY PLAY IT WORSE THAN CALL OF DUTY AND NEVER EVEN DO TEAMWORK IN THE TEAMWORK BASED GAME SO BADLY THEY SHOULD JUST STICK WITH CALL OF DUTY IN THAT WAY SO THEY DON'T HAVE A POOR BULLSHIT EXCUSE BECAUSE THEY ARE DOING THE SAME THING MINUS THE HATE THE PLAYERS WHO ACTUALLY PLAY AS A TEAM GIVE THEM FOR BEING IDIOTS!!!, that means it has died. To idiots. People wonder why games die? I wonder why? Oh, I know, cause asshole gamers who think they are in the right but fail to realise they are killing their games by demanding bullshit 2 bit bullshit of extremely beloved companies and then chastise them for making a terrible game when they asked for that game! It's what I call the Call of Duty Syndrome, cause it originated from hypocritical Call of Duty haters. Hate the game so people who skim through and glance at only the negatives jump on the bandwagon like idiots and further become bigger idiots by being idiots and hating the game cause of someone's "opinion", so that they someone gets to camp in the corner with a god damn shotgun and complain about the game and how terrible it is and trying to make everyone else as toxic as them because of persistence and assholery, AND THEN PAY MILLIONS TO THE COMPANY EVEN THOUGH THEY AREN'T EVEN HATING ON THE GAME BUT RATHER THE COMPANY AND ONLY USING THE GAME AS AN EXCUSE, AND YET STILL SPEND MILLIONS AND PAY SAID COMPANY!!!
If there's one thing I hate more than politicians and being the only smart, as in any IQ, person in the room, it's assholes like the Call of Duty haters who are the real reason the only people you notice playing are 3 year old children because the haters successfully got all the mature people out so they can yell at extremely loud tones for no fucking reason because assholes, aka trolls. Do you see why I give EA a pass and not these fucks?

We have these HUGE gaming corporations andΒ industries who has money, people, technology, time, more money, more people, more developers, EVEN MORE MONEY!... To create one excellent games and possibleΒ franchises.
And then we Indie Game type developers with (possibly) less money, less people, less time. less technology and so on and so on. Yet these people have created magnificent and memorable games like FNAF, Undertale, BATIM, Spelunky, Don't Starve and the Binding of Isaac. <
So my question is... Where did we go so wrong, yet so right.

in my opinion its the Best mass effect in: Graphic / combat / Leveldesign
i love the openworld and things like the open designd tempest (no loading times)

Alway's there are people who don't like the game. I really like ME: Andromeda and i don't care about animations and other stuff. I like the combat, animations, story and characters, who are now my most favourite - Cora, Peebee and Drack.

I haven't played ME:A, but it's so easy to imagine the main Mass Effect characters gathering together on the Citadel with a game like this during the Citadel DLC. So I have to fav just for that.

This is the same problem with movie reboots. If you're simultaneously trying to bring back old players and trying really hard to get new ones, you get an underwhelming product. Hell, they even did it with ME3, which makes no sense to do for the 3rd game in a trilogy.

The combat and more RPG elements then 2 or 3 are the only things that save it
Piss poor story, dialogue and characters, no paragon/renegade options, boring enemies and poor animations and character creator
