So this is finally done. Animation is from the Fallout Radio Play created by the Equestrian Broadcasting Company .
Started in February 2014. Finished around mid-July 2014. Was kind of an on-and-off project. The final version was shown at BronyCon 2014 on August 3rd during the SFM Ponies panel.

The map is basically empty. All the props were loaded in for the scenebuild.

The scene at the end overlooking the wastes would make a great wallpaper. I've already grabbed a screenshot, but if you want to release an official one that isn't paused-video-blurry quality that might be a fun idea.

I was never into the whole Fallout Equestria world before but after having watched a number of your well edited videos on YouTube, I have to say argo you make some very convincing and very beautiful work. I have only seen the line of cinema matched in high end movies dealing with something close to the apocalyptic work of Fallout but never as close as you have been.
Know well that you have other projects you'll be continuing so forth from this point but just wanted to stop by and share a personal thanks towards you and your animation for sparking some interest of my own into all of this. That and please keep up the fantastic work you do with SFM, you make quite the gifted animator. *nods*

6 months of making? Let me put it this way, I remember the times when SFMs were jus G-Mod Idiot Box related short clips with some random childish humor about some dummy being thrown here and there, screaming, with some audio clips from Counter Strike, Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead. It became boring and now it has became something ambitious. Your latest work proves that.
It's atmospheric, detailed and professional. I wonder if one day at least one of such creations will be aired on a silver screen. You'd have to team up with other SFM makers and you have a chance to do that, Argo.

holy...freaking...crap. 4K!? How freaking long did that take to render? Like a week? On my last computer I calculated that at the rate it rendered certain things, it would take exactly two hundred days for it to render a ten minute video with each frame having similar effort to be put in as my test image. so, how long???

Took about 1.5-2 weeks rendering 8-12 hours a day. Because the maps were custom scenebuilds, I could delete everything out of shot, which drastically reduced render times. It was built to be efficient.
