Bast from The Kingkiller cronicles, one of my favorite books...I only learned of it's existance this year, and got completely sucked into the story
Pose is boring because it was a Ustream test, painted in front of a live studio audience
Photoshop cs5, a moderate amount of coffee, and lots of horsing around with my test watcher Sarah

His shirt was going to be purple at first but after some chatting while streaming it was decided that his shirt looked better blue

Lighting is one of my all time favorite things, and since the pose is fairly plain I thought it would jazz the scene up a bit
