Among the Texas meadows by the neighborhood there played a beautiful lady. The English Setter had no owner - but instead, she had many. She played with the local children and they kept her well fed and entertained. She was never far from their laughter and hopped through the high grasses with them.

This is a commissioned portrait of "Lady" for a client in Texas. The buyer was one of those children who claimed her as his own as a kid.
