When your imaginary friend isn't so imaginary anymore.
This digital illustration was made for the SCBWI Carolina's Art Contest 2016. The theme was "illustrate a page turner". It's a wide open theme and since I'm in a monster drawing mood, this happened. Here, the little girl couldn't fall asleep. So her imaginary friend picked up the first book he could find titled "The Good Book" (yes, a play on words, and no the friend isn't a demon... he's more like a gargoyle) and he read her stories. What's going to happen next I wonder?
Made in photoshop, 25 hours.
