We first saw Bruinen and Earendil in my drawing "Where Scars Come From" (auroratheicewing.deviantart.co… ) They are the two dragons watching the battle between Cascade and Snake unfold. It was Bruinen's idea to not intervene and so they left. They were part of Coral's army sent to help Blister in the War. They fought mainly inland, and after the war they continued to work for Coral as messengers. Once, Earendil was delivering a message to the Rainforest where Canopy and Duvessa (RainWing egg and hatchling caretakers) asked him to help carry some hatchlings to queen Glory for naming. Among the hatchlings was a SkyWing whose egg was left in the forest by her wounded mother. Glory didn't know what to do with her, so Earendil opted to adopt her. Bruinen arrived a few days later in search of his mate which is when they made the final decision to adopt her. They named the small SkyWing Calypso.
