Luriey is all in all, a happy and earnest child. She is amiable and friendly towards everyone she meets. This made her quite popular with her fellow kids and adults back in the city, but anyone who has been friends with her long enough can testify about her obsession with magic and the occult. She loves collecting things that she believe is connected to magic as well, so her room is filled with magical items and books that she has collected..

Despite the troubles of her childhood, she’s not one to back down from problems and often goes charging into things head first without thinking much of the possible consequences. Her childish naivete can lead her to underestimate the dangers of magic, which causes more than a little destruction around her whenever she gets carried away.

However, Luriey is at least a little mindful about her own family’s struggles and how hard her sister works and shows proper appreciation for them whenever she can. She does have a close relationship with her family, but she often gets out of their way whenever they’re working as to not disturb them. She used to be more frugal, but now that Katja’s bakery seems to be flourishing, she has started to spend more on her hobbies with her older sister’s encouragement.

After moving to Toffee Town, her curiosity about magic has intensified with the existence of monsters and an actual magic shop that she could browse in. Luriey has a high tendency of becoming trigger-happy whenever she tries to use magic, so her brother has to calm her down whenever he can.

HISTORY
Despite being born in a struggling family, Luriey has the demeanor of a happy child who has no worries in life. As the youngest member in their family, she was very doted on by her family, causing her to grow up into an energetic but bullheaded girl who would always cause trouble with her antics. She did the minimal amount required of household chores and would always prefer to play outside with like-minded children, much to the dismay of her older brother.

Luriey attended the same public school as her twin brother, Louis. For Luriey, her school life was nothing short of fun and happy. She easily got along with people and attracted fellow children thanks to her bright and sunny disposition, but her energy seemed to cause more trouble than what was good for her. She would climb trees or make a messy painting on the wall for fun and receive proper punishments and spend hours in detention for causing a ruckus. Since Katja and Louis was often busy with chores, it’s usually up to Luriey to entertain herself and sought attention from other people. She still loved her family, but she was at least aware that she might just cause trouble if she stays at home, she often got out of their way and spent time outside.

After Katja left for Toffee Town, Luriey didn’t show it but she was rather devastated. Both her and Louis treasured their elder sister who had a huge role on their lives. Despite being somewhat of a troublemaker, Katja always doted on her and made her feel important in the family despite of her lack of outstanding results when it came to school. She remained happy and energetic, but she also tried her best to help out Louis more at home. This somehow helped the twins become closer as they supported each other while Katja was away, making the burden lighter for her older siblings by doing small chores like setting up the table or cleaning up the house when she can.

More than one year had passed, yet Katja still remained in the mysterious place known as ‘Toffee Town’. Luriey got more used to staying at home to help out Louis. Being curious about the town that Katja now lived in, Luriey dreamed of going there someday to see beautiful sceneries and magical creatures, the latter being her main goal. Katja’s letters about her life in the town made Luriey rather envious of her sister, feeling that a life in the countryside in a flourishing town such as Toffee would be more of a fulfilling life for her and her family. Luriey didn’t hate the city, but she did grow tired of the tall buildings and the dull routine that people lived.

As soon as they received a letter from Katja about moving to Toffee Town with her, Luriey was ecstatic and ready to go as soon as possible. Unlike her brother, she had no qualms about living in the magical place that her dear sister seemed to love. She easily abandoned the mundane city and set out for an adventure in Toffee Town!
