i can hear it. it's just down the hall, it's shadow reaching up to where i'm sittingi can't run, i can't hide
it's going to find me
a low grinding groan tells me its moving down the hall towards me
"it's not real." i whisper to myself. "it's not real."
tears of fear swell in my eyes as the grinding groan gets closer.
i'm frozen with fear, my brain is telling me to run but i can't find the strength
my heart is pounding so loud i feel it might burst through my chest
"it's not real." i whispered again, tears streaming heavily mixing with blood on my face
a black clawed hand reaches around the corner
the grinding groan goes silent
it's right there
its so close

This is so creepy and awesome! xD The expressions and colours and atmosphere and everything are perfect. Seriously, that puppet thing is terrifying.
It actually kinda reminds me of a creepy Avengers fanfic/fancomic I almost did a while ago where there's this creature called The Beast following Clint around but only he can see it and everyone thinks he's crazy but it's completely and utterly real and damn freaky

Sorry, I had to run up and get notebooks (it's so old I wrote a lot of it by hand xD). So, I wrote this thing out as a comic script so the description is kinda all over the place, and I've had to write out the whole sentence otherwise the tense doesn't make sense, but:
1st panel - side view - Clint looking into the forest (away from camera). He's seen something that's spooked him. We can see a dark monstrous shape with glowing eyes...
And then also:
1st panel - BIG - The agent has been grabbed by the Beast, which holds him above the ground. The Beast is completely black and should look as scary as possible, almost dripping with darkness. It has teeth...lots of teeth - and claws. It's vaguely wolf-like inΒ appearance, but I figure it could probably morph into whatever form it wanted.Β

Also (I'm reading this old comic script now) it seems to be able to disintegrate? It can also speak, although I think it's actually telepathic and only Clint/altered persons can hear it. It also likes stabbing people with it's claws, it seems.Β
