UF4.I'm taking Janet Parke's UF course and we were encouraged to explore the Mandelbrot set beyond our homework assignment.
This spiral is a result of exploring the west mandelbrot "midget".

You're welcome. Awesome!! The things you learn in her classes are invaluable. I'm in the Artistry class right now, and she's got me thinking about stuff I've never thought of before.
The masking class is pretty intense, but well-worth it! Some of the techniques are difficult, but they get much easier in practice, and Janet will alway help you, too.
