Hoi! :3 I still haz inspiration!So, I've been wanting to draw this for a long time. It is my belief that Hoody is still alive, but he'd be pretty banged-up from that fall.
This is meant to be kind of a part two to my other picture here , but.. Better drawn xD Yikes.
If you can find Slender in this picture.. I'd be worried if I were you. I didn't draw him in this one.

I really love the improvements you made with this picture, and it's beautiful. Yeah, I didn't want to think Brian 'ol buddy's dead either, and to think that he might've just laid there because he was in so much pain, or to let Tim grab the tape, I like that idea. And then if we think he could've survived, then he could've been playing dead when Alex had him propped up (but if that's the case, wow.. that's really messed up. Then again, if he was scared for his life and badly injured, staying still would've been a smart move). Anyways, great work on this!

Yes! I think he was unconscious when he hit the ground (cause you know, concussion) and depending on how much later it was that Alex propped him up, he could either still be unconscious or faking it. I also wondered if Alex knew he was faking it and like, was doing that all to freak Tim into a relapse.
But yeah.. He's alive, I say!

(although, if something like that happened, I doubt Alex would know that he was alive. Alex had already lost it at that point, and so he would've killed him if he knew. I have no doubt about it. He even killed his girlfriend, someone he left his college town to be with. She was his escape, and he obviously didn't want to have to kill her, but he did and so if he knew Brian was alive, I doubt he'd spare him and yet kill poor Amy)

Also, did you notice how by the end of it, Hoody was coughing and taking Tim's meds? Do you think the coughing is Slenderman trying to (re)gain control of someone and the pills block it? Cause it would be interesting is Hoody was trying to get away from Slenderman at the end.

Actually, that was even confirmed. It is speculated that the reason the pills were sort of working was because they may have been seizure medication. It was implied that Tim was taking a lot more pills before back in college and before college, however, we only see him taking one kind of medication now despite it being heavily hinted at that he was taking schizophrenic medicine and possibly other pills much earlier. What did he have a problem with? Seizures. What did the Operator like to cause? Seizures. And what power do we know the Operator has over its victims? Messing with their heads. The Operator, the more power it got, also showed more interference on film, and one of the things that can cause that is electro magnetic waves, and so the seizure medication wasn't a fix all, but it helped keep the Operator from messing with them too badly.
So yes, Hoody was definitely trying to keep the Operator out of his head, but as for 'control'.. You see, a common misconception is the idea of proxies in Marble Hornets, but the THAC crew has stated in both panels and their AMA that the Operator never had complete control of its victims. That's why it was called the "Operator". Their version of the monster tampered with and messed with their brains, causing them to become mentally and physically sick over time, but it affected people in different ways. I mean, look at Jay. He became obsessed in the very beginning of searching through footage specifically for finding the Operator, and he started to forget to eat, get high fevers that doctors couldn't explain, loose track of time until finally starting to wake in places he has no idea how he got there and taking days to get back while giving the impression he came back right away. Not to mention, poor decision making, starting to isolate himself, we were always meant to question his almost 'robotic-like' behavior in the beginning, which was only further explored after Jessica yelled at him at the hotel "You're not even acting like a person," and how much Jay contrasted against a highly emotional Tim. I mean, remember how Jay was just sitting and waiting for Tim to get out of his appointment before he was even properly acquainted with him? He didn't act like that was even a problem, even though Tim gave him a funny look coming out saying "Oh, I didn't know you'd be waiting here..." Even Alex went back and forth with his behaviors, and they always were very 'off'. Most people would've slammed that camera out of their face after Jay stole Alex's keys and threw and locked them in his car, and most people would've decked Jay's face, but Alex was fighting the urge to kill him right there, staring so close it was like he was dissecting him with his gaze. Everything he was doing was 'off', and even Tim, who we could relate to a little more because of his much easier to understand reactions and dialogue, was not considering police an option, tied up Jay and filmed it while leaving his door unlocked, and waited about a month for Alex to meet him at his home so he could try and kill him.
Also, interesting fun fact. Troy, co-writer, director, and also the actor for Jay had stated that Hoody believed himself to be the catalyst to the end, but for what all was going through his head at any point of time, is hard to say because of how messed up he was. But right there: "at any point of time" Remember how his videos changed back and forth along with his actions in the real world? From verbally and emotionally abusive 'He is a liar' and 'Removetrust Forgetitisreal', sick and vindictive 'Do I help? Or do I kill', to sympathetic and pleading 'Iamcloseby asalways' 'one day you will understand', and of course finally questioning his purpose. 'Who am I? Am I the third?' (footage of Tim and Jay was playing to a slowed up 'Three Blind Mice') He never was a bad guy, so to speak. Even how the words 'permanence' flashed over footage of Jay and Tim, he didn't want them to die, just Alex. It's also probably that he was so messed up and since he knew Jay watched his videos, that he thought Jay wouldn't go into Benedict Hall when he did and get killed. "Hold your formation. Do not do this." It was even said, and didn't require him to solve a code. And even in the time he held a gun to Alex's head, he hesitated, because in the end, he still was human and Alex at one point was his friend.
