Nice to hear from you again.
I wish I had a good answer to your question.
I'll guess an overdose of coffee and a lot of hours in hunched position describe it some of the process.

It looks almost three dimensional. I like your weapon paintings. Very detailed and fun to look at. I just wonder what it needs the clip for?

Thank you for your comment. For the functions of the weapon, read my answer to MoonlitCrescent couple of comment below. I hope that explain my idea.

This is inspired a little bit by Kalashnikov yes?, oh and the bullet counter, this just came to my mind, isn't it not strategically irrational to show the opponent how much bullets you have left? By this I mean that if the counter was located in a different location where only the user could see, this would be an improvement. Since you've mentioned it, I come to wonder, exactly which part of this gun was inspired by Fallout? Oh and what part do the electrons play in the gun? that cylinder in the upper right part of the gun, is it related to the electrons somehow?

Actually I was not inspired by Kalashnikov with this one.
As all my weapons, the ammo counter has a flip switch (like on modern DV cameras) so
it can face the user. I just prefer to depict it in an inactive state. If you wanna know about how the electron weaponry work
just scroll down and see the other comments. I've explained it once before.
As to the Fallout inspiration, I guess just the feel of it all. The stock witch seems to be to small for the gun, the overall simplicity
while still being a advanced weapon.

How does it fire?
And how does the electrical component work?

It's a technology that I've invented for a RPG. Electron weapons are basically projectile weapons with electron charged ammunition.
The bullet is charged in the chamber by a tiny superconductor battery that is part of the casing. This results in a negative charged field around the bullet.
Electron weapons are expensive but have better penetration capability and the negative field just increases the wound canal, so they are quite deadly.
There are couple of drawbacks though. The electron particles are heavier and the weapons suffer some 20% loss in range. Also, because the electron field
comes in contact with airborne particles, the reation results in faint blue trace following the projectile's path.
Still, these are very popular weapons among my players.
(I'm not a weapons engineer so it might be totally impossible, but I don't care. It's sci-fi!!! )

Front hor. grip looks alright, i can see gas powered redraw mechanism, ammo counter, rail for optics, simplistic barrel design to compete with grease gun so this might be grease gun of 22 century or so.
Only complain i have is extemely weak stock wich looks like it will fall off if i'll slam...no, lightly tap someone in the face with it, when in reality a good stock used not only to help managing aiming and recoil but also to melee-slam.
Besides from that - a nice gun. By the way - i love that you made grip curve, meaning that there is possibility for drum magazine.

Thanks for the insights. To my defence (or the stock's defence) I've meant to have a weak, hap-hazzard stock. It is part of the Fallout-inspiration I've mentioned above.
I wanted the gun to feel like it had been assembled from parts that initially didn't fit together. (Maybe I did it too well. )
