It just looks like the sort of place I would enjoy being! Colorful and warm and full of art and comics.
This piece was inspired by *Cinnamoron drawing her own fox under a torii gate. [link] <3 THEN I WANTED TO DRAW ONE TOO. So here is another Inari fox, creeping down to a field of grain to either bless or steal it.

Yay for foxes! I love how you gave him a little mask. And I think he's running down the hillside to go party with my fox. Then they will run around doing mischievous things until Inari tells them they should act better. XD

Oh wow, you'll get to be there?! Unfortunately I won't be. 8( I'd have to buy a plane ticket, which is too expensive. But I wish I could be! This gallery seems to me - even though I've never seen it - like a nice place. Not super up tight, open to all sorts of work. Also, affiliated with a comic shop. <3 I wish I could be there. ><

Tate's is an awesome place. and the gallery section, even though it's relatively small, it always has some awesome artwork there. and the family that runs the place is really nice. If you want, if I'm able to go, I'll go the opening and take pictures send them to you ^^

yes absolutely please do take photos! I didn't have a chance to take any pictures of my work before I sent it, and I WAS pretty happy with the framing and mats. They were nice looking. ><
Mrrrrr I'm kind of jealous that most of Tate's shows are limited to Florida artists! There photos usually look nice, filled with some good stuff.

Yea, It's sad that Tate's limits their shows to South Floridians but I guess its because shipping is pretty expensive... It's cheaper it display artist who can drop off and pick up their artwork in person
I hope that one day you'll be able to visit Tate's and see their gallery. It was is a nice and cozy place ^_^
