My latest attempt at doing a Smashified illustration, and even though Banjo and Kazooie have already been done by both hextupleyoodot (ArtsyOmni) and Sean-the-Artist with their own versions quite a while ago, I figured a take by me was in order to help celebrate the dynamic duo's 20th anniversary of their first game's worldwide release. And being one of my most favourite video-game series, there's no way I was going to pass up this opportunity.We can only hope that the bear & bird will have another shot at having a new big adventure someday, or at the very least cameo in another popular series.

Simply incredible, great work and really in tone with the current art style of ultimate, congratulations dude.
I can see it is not completely smash ultimate style, but by far, it is the closest i have seen in fan arts.
Would it be too much to ask for Sol Badguy from guilty ger or Megaman Zero?

To be honest i would like a million times more that banjo & kazooie be in smash instead of minecraft, nothing against it but a character like him is not what i look for in a dlc character, fingers crossed for banjo in smash

Wrong! Kazooie has an instrument, and Banjo's banjo does not have the Rare logo.

Judging from all the upcoming merch Banjo's getting that's being teased around E3, I sense that what once was a RARE possibility may finally come into fruition... Only time will tell for sure.

I spotted this one in a bunch of YouTube videos that were about people wanting the two in Smash. I think it turned out pretty amazing.
Cannot help but wonder: while knowing your commissions are closed at the moment, would you actually consider such an artwork also as a commission piece?

I've seen other artists attempt to translate B-K into a Smash style and none of them really clicked with me (even though I'd be more than happy to see them in the game.)
But this one I think really hits the nail on the head, it brings the best elements of their old and new designs in a charming way that I can really get behind!
