Description
One-night engagement only, ladies and gents!The story goes that there's a certain species of swan that is mute for its entire life, until, in the minute before it dies, it sings just one first and final song.
This is about cliches and executing them, though whether that's meant in the sense of "destroying" or "accomplishing" is a matter of personal taste~

I was always hoping you would do something with these two, I always liked them.
I read this about the swan and it makes me want to sing on my deathbed... then I realised I might die suddenly and not on a bed... and even if I was on my deathbed I don't know when I will die and I cant just keep singing till I drop dead... and even if I somehow knew then the people around me might mistake my last song as me screeching in pain and might just try to put me out of my misery...
Anyway I love this and the drools of color. Its fantastic.

Yeah! I forget the actual scientific species name for this kind of swan...I'm not even sure they actually do this, but it's really interesting to think about.
AH I have to admit I didn't draw that record, ahaha. xD It's just a collage paper that I splattered paint on. But glad you like it!

How do you actually do those paint splatters?
THEY LOOK LIKE FUN!

It's a bit messy, but so so fun. Get some water and acrylic paint (or watercolour, any water-soluble paint will do) on an old toothbrush. Any old brush really. Bend back the bristles with a finger, then release! And the paint should splatter~
Anyway, experiment with it, you can change how the splatter looks with factors like how much water you put on, how far you bend back the bristles, how close the brush is to the paper, etc.
I hope that made sense. Let me know how it goes!
