Description
Below the flowing curtains of ever-changing waters,
Lies a motionless depth, releasing its eerie whisper
And yet, from the stone jaws of underwater caverns
Just before it vanishes, is seen a single shimmer

Dare you dive closer, and you'll be able to hear...
How those fins cut through water, as it swims near
You'll hear its innocent laughter, or dreadful screeches
But for some reason, it won't swim out to where light reaches

For years, the fanged cave was a home to this scaly-tailed creature
Seeing nothing else, besides colonies of breathless corals beneath
Some days when resting, golden sunlight could quietly reach her
Luminating such elegant curves, that rise when she would breathe

Having experienced the warmth of a morning sun
The so called "home" suddenly became a little colder
Maybe it can be explored, come the fear undone?
Cavern's jaws are open wide, what's beyond that jagged border?

Ascending through a snarling opening, before it can bite
Fins, skin, scales and hair bathe in submerged light
Spiralling into the open seas, leaving only one thing behind
Her memory, her past, shivering in terror at the back of her mind

May or may not have been the hardest project I've made...
Never drawn so many scales in my life, let alone detailed underwater scenery. Send h e l p :')
Also, there's a hidden story behind this composition. I'm sure each person will see it differently, though. Which only makes it more interesting
