Description DETAAAAILS.

This girl is from Tales of Phantasia, and I made her because a) =pandari suggested we do a trade someday, and b) =pandari 's Arche cosplay really amuses me!

Arche's white jacket turned out so neat. The hole in the front took a bit of figuring out, and I think it wins my "smallest but most loose ends" award, but... I really really like it.

...even so, I don't think I want to make it again anytime soon.

This was made, as always, with my Basic Doll Body pattern. I share it for free, so feel free to ask for a copy!

This is awesome! I'm especially a fan of the hair; I've always had a ton of trouble making hair look right.

You'd best believe it took quite a few tries to get it right. Thank you!

Do you have any tips on doing it well?

Haha, not really. Her bangs are just an oval done in half-double... So I make one round of an oval, and to get taller spikes I chain 3, hdc 2 down that spike and continue around the oval. On the third round I go up the other side of that ch 3, make a (hdc, dc, hdc) point near the top, and come back down over the two hdc. You can do this to make as many spikes as you need.

....if that makes any sense.
