EDIT: added shading and more lighting to background trees, ashfur and squirrelflight's leggys and body.
Redraw of this old trash:
My main problems with the old one are the expressions not really showing anything, the lighting and shading was garbage on most of it. Their pelts had this weird shine effect to them that just made them look like balloons instead of cats. The fire oh god i knew it was bad when i drew it over a year ago but ignored it because I just wanted to finish it. The whole thing is a mess and is one of the main drawings that made me really want to improve and change as an artist.
Next year i will look back on this version and ask myself wtf i was thinking but until then enjoy because i sure did
