I was expecting it to be Batman, considering Snyder’s run on the series is my favourite thing DC has done, or Wonder Woman, considering how much I loved the last four issues. But, honestly, this series reminds me of the Green Lantern Animated Series, and I love it. It’s only a couple issues in, but the tone is perfect, the characters are perfect, and Sinestro is a great villain.
Seriously, though, if you liked GLTAS you should give this series a try. Aya and Razer are missing, but it feels almost like just a couple years have passed.

John Stewart is my favorite Green Lantern. He is the first one I think about whenever I hear about the Green Lanterns

I'm partial to Hal Jordan, the cowboy attitude is fantastic, but this is the first comic I've read with Stewart. I drew him because I liked him in this issue, so here's hoping he'll be my favorite too.

I use to watch the Justice League Animated Series, back in the early 2000's. Stewart was the GL for that show, so to me, he was the first GL.
