This. is really nicely depicted. A definite sense of 'doom'.. ..and darkness,.. both impending and current,.. and,.. inescapable.

Oh yeah, for sure! Clive's work is way, wayyy more cerebral (therefore, true horror on every level) He clearly understands what the mind, and imagination can do to a person; fear can make one destroy one's own self; simply by using the power of suggestion, for instance..
